Aftercare

Please leave bandage on for minimum 3 days

Always wash your hands with unscented antibacterial soap and dry your hands with a clean paper towel prior to bandage removal and cream application.

Remove bandage by pulling edges downwards, not up, as it will prevent ink from being pulled out.

Once bandage is removed, wash tattoo with unscented antibacterial soap, rinse well, the pat dry with a clean paper towel. (Not a hand towel as that could spread bacteria)

Once tattoo is fully dry, apply a small amount of aftercare cream. DO NOT USE YOUR FINGER to scoop out the cream, use an applicator stick.

Repeat this process 2x daily (morning and evening) until tattoo is no longer red and sensitive.

For the next 3 weeks, keep tattoo moisturized and out of the sun. Avoid submerging your tattoo in swimming pools and hot tubs with chlorine.

What to do if your tattoo looks infected:

If you begin to feel flu like symptoms, and tattoo is looking red and swollen, hot to touch, or discoloured scabbing with oozing and is painful to touch, go to emergency immediately. Have your doctor contact us and we will provide all documentation with cartridge lot numbers and inks we used in your tattoo to help track down the root cause. Sometimes it could be an allergic reaction to a specific colour or brand of ink.
